Built from purpose,

Pressed & Unstressed was born from lived experience. In 2020, Christie found herself navigating both pandemic isolation and the reality of domestic violence. Instead of staying down, she turned that moment into a movement.

P&UL is more than a laundry service — it's a pathway. A way for women who are rebuilding their lives to earn, grow, and achieve financial independence in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Today, P&UL is part of a growing ecosystem under VelHir — Christie's parent company — alongside Gene Isis Farms (an urban farm and healing space) and The Black Beatnik Brand (wellness & lifestyle). All of it rooted in the same belief: that business can be a tool for healing.
