5. Pick-Up and Delivery Process
- We will make every effort to pick up and deliver laundry as scheduled, but we are not liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Please note that we are not responsible or liable for loss and damage to items once delivery has been completed.
- Pressed & Unstressed Laundry reserves the right to leave laundry at the pre-determined location described by the customer or a place of our choosing if no description is provided by the customer. We may also modify the delivery location if it is deemed unsafe, unclear, or unavailable during delivery.
6. Garment Handling
- We handle garments with care, but please note that we do not provide dry cleaning services. Our services are limited to washing, drying, and folding or hanging of standard laundry items.
- We are not responsible for damage to items that are improperly labeled, included in the order, or for items with existing damage.
- We reserve the right to refuse handling certain items if they pose a risk to our equipment or staff.
7. Lost Items
- We make every effort to prevent loss. In the event that an item is lost during our service, claims for lost items must be made within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@pressedunstressed.com. Please include details such as your order number and a description of the lost item in your email.
- Our liability for lost items is limited to the cost of replacing a similar item of equivalent value or twice the cost of service, whichever is lower.
8. Missed Pickup and Delivery
- Missed pickups or deliveries resulting from customer negligence, availability, or accessibility will incur a fee of $20. Pressed & Unstressed Laundry will make every effort to complete each pickup or delivery as scheduled but still reserves the right to collect a missed delivery/pickup fee.
9. Exclusion of Heavily Soiled Items
Customers agree not to include heavily soiled items in their laundry orders. Heavily soiled items refer to any items that are extensively stained, wet, or soiled with substances such as:
- Oil
- Grease
- Chemicals
- Bodily fluids (including but not limited to blood, urine, and feces)
- Bed bugs or other pests
- Biohazardous materials
Including heavily soiled items in your laundry order may result in additional charges and could potentially damage other items in the load. Depending on the incident, it could result in a temporary or permanent ban of future services with Pressed & Unstressed Laundry. We prioritize the safety and cleanliness of our laundry facilities and staff and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all.
